The Body-Tracing activity is an important activity allowing the child learn about proportions.
When learning about our bodies we can learn in many different ways. One way is through art, which allows the child to get a size and proportion awareness. In this activity we used large pieces of paper that each child uses to trace their partner. Although the children worked in small groups, each child should draw and colour their own page. Here are some examples from the body-tracing activity.
Please note that the images on this site intentionally do not show the faces of the children. To maintain the privacy of the children the images are of low resolution with children specifically asked to look away from the camera.
